Spa Receptionist/Medical Assistant

What You’ll Do:
The role of a medical assistant in a medical spa is not limited to but would include the following to ensure a smooth flow of appointments while maintaining a positive experience for our clients.
- Assist with pre and post procedure care during injectable, laser, and Beautifill procedures.
- Assist with patient assessments.
- Provide support during procedures.
- Prepare and set up the treatment room as well as turning over the room post treatment to
- maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Maintain product inventory.
- Assist with receptionist duties when not in a procedure such as: answering phone calls,
- scheduling, confirming appointments, welcoming clients, and checking out clients.
- Effective communication and attention to detail is crucial in this setting.
- Social media background is not required, but strongly preferred.
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Customer service background recommended.
- Flexibility
Injectables:
- Set up and prepare for the procedure as needed.
- Obtain and ensure all consents are signed prior to start of treatment.
- Obtain before and after pictures.
- Cleanse and numb the patient.
- Provide support during treatment – assisting the client and provider.
Laser:
- Set up and prepare for the procedure as needed.
- Obtain and ensure all consents are signed prior to start of treatment.
- Obtain Visia.
- Cleanse and numb the patient when appropriate.
- Assist during treatment when appropriate.
- Clean room at end of treatment.
Beautifill:
- Set up and prepare for the procedure as needed.
- Obtain and ensure all consent are signed prior to start of treatment.
- Obtain a urine pregnancy test if applicable.
- Obtain vitals at arrival, start of procedure, and periodically throughout procedure.
- Assist with before photos.
- Remain in the room as an unsterile circulating assistant throughout the entire procedure.
- Assist with post procedure care.
- Sterilize any equipment post procedure and clean/organize room

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Two (2) years previous medical or general office experience preferred.
- Two (2) years previous customer service experience preferred.
- Must be well organized and able to multitask efficiently.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively.
- Must be proficient in MS Office and have good computer skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

- High energy and motivation to succeed.
